Baby Sock do do doooo do

I realized I have to attend or send presents to three baby showers, all in the first two weekends of April, so I made this baby sock this weekend. It's just a simple sock, but I love it! I think it is so tiny and cute! I love the way it stands up on its own, like a little shoe. (or, um, bootie) My socks don't do that, even when I use a nearly identical pattern!
This is the start of sock number two. I'm about halfway through the leg part. Tiny socks go pretty fast!

The yarn is the Regia my SP7 sent. Merci encore, SP7! The pattern is Infant Socks by Judy Ellis.

What do you guys think of the colors? Do you think I can make socks for a baby boy out of these colors? Or a baby of unknown gender? I guess I'm just asking because of the pink bits...

So cute and tiny! If it was my baby boy, I'd put those socks on him.

Thanks, Katie, for the compliment and the advice!

awwwww...so cute! Looks like it will actually stay on a baby's foot, which is a GOOD (and rare) thing.

thanks, Amie! I hope it stays on the baby's foot - it seems like it will go up high enough on the leg that it should be ok. I didn't even think of that!
