Ugly Sock and SP7!
Here's the Easter Egg Explosion sock. Hum, this isn't such a great view of the actual sock - I'll take another picture when I'm finished with it. but can you see how ugly it is?
And this, my friends, is a package from my SP7. Thanks, SP7! She sent more sock yarn (hooray!), other yarns, chocolate eggs for Easter, and little napkins with chickies on them. Thanks, SP7. I love everything. She didn't include a card, though, so I still don't know who she is! SP7, please leave your name & blog address so I can properly thank you! In case you guys were wondering, I was the Secret Pal to the delightful Jen of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England.

No, it's not ugly! That's Lion Brand's Jellybean sock yarn, isn't it? I made a pair of socks from that and I love them. Of course, I usually wear them on days when I know I won't be leaving the house much... but even though they're a little bright they make me happy. :)

Hmmm.... perhaps ugly isn't quite the right word.... Perhaps "lairy" or "bright and exciting" would be a more positive description - especially given that someone you obviously like enough to give them a pair of socks has said that they like them and will wear them. :-)

Yes, Katie, you are correct! It's Lion Brand Jellybean magic stripes. Maybe it's the pattern I chose to go with the yarn... I'm not sure, but I just am not happy with the colorway.
Paisley, hum, perhaps you are correct and I should chose a more descriptive word than ugly. I'll come up with one for the next photo!
