Seamen's Scarf

So, my mom asked me to knit a scarf for the Seamen's Church Institute's Christmas at Sea program. Her church is collecting things. So I made this scarf, following the pattern they sent and using the icky acrylic they gave me. I told them I had much nicer yarn and I'd be willing to use it, but they said no, it must be the yarn they give.

I've still got 1 ball and 1 nearly full ball of it left. I don't think I have time to make another scarf before the deadline, so I'm sending it back to my mom. She thought she'd be able to whip up another one in time.
