Sockret Pal Questionnaire
The basics:How long have you been knitting?Do you consider yourself a beginning sock knitter, an intermediate, or have you been doing this so long you could probably knit a pair in your sleep? I'd say intermediate.
The measurements:
While your pal may ask for some additional info to ensure a great fit, please provide your shoe size, or any other fitting related info you think is pertinent. I wear size 7 US, size 4.5 UK, size 37 Euro.
(fiber related) Favorites:
What colors do you love? girly colors - pinks and purples and yellows. I can't really think of many colors I DON'T like, though, so anything's good. Surprise me!
Do you prefer solids or variegated? I mostly use self-striping yarns for socks, but again, I'd be happy with anything.
What fibers do you most love to knit with? merino wool.
Who do you consider your favorite yarn vendors? online, I like knitpicks for the delighful prices. I usually just buy sock yarn when I'm traveling, though, as I can get things I can't get at home and I can actually touch it before buying.
What projects (other than socks, of course*S*) do you most enjoy knitting? hum... well, I have a bad habit of starting but not finishing. Socks are great because they are small. I'm working on Green Gables now and I hope to finish it before next summer!

What fibers can you not stand to knit with? acrylic To wear? same
What colors would you never wear? um, yellowy greens, rusty oranges?

Do you like sweet, sour or salty? (or all of the above? *S*) sweet and sour as far as candy goes. I hate salty/sweet combos.
Do you have any allergies your pal should know about? (Certain foods, smoke, pet hair, etc) nope, though I'm not crazy about smoke smells
Favorite scents? Scents you can't stand? lavender is my favorite. I don't like vanilla unless it's in baked goods.
Do you collect anything (other than yarn and knitting toys of course)? nope
When is your birthday? (month and day is fine!) May 12
Do you spin? Dye your own yarn? neither
Your favorite author/band/vacation spot, anything you think will help your pal know you better... hum... I love to travel. I used to live in France. the wishlist has a good cross-section of the music I like. I read a lot. I also go to the movies a lot.
