Secret Pal Revealed!

Dennis' Mom! I received my final package, as pictured above. I got a great book on felting, which I've never tried. I only have a mini washing machine, so I've been wondering if it will work in there, but I think it will, so I'll have to try it out soon. There was also some lovely sort of light coral colored yarn. And soap, that smells so good! Chocolate, dark, yum. I can't wait to eat that. Scrapbooking supplies, and 2 cute cases.

Finished Socks!
Finally! A finished object. These are socks I made for my sister Amanda, for Christmas. One was finished before Christmas. I wrapped it up, presented it to her, and promptly took it back, so that I could make the second one the same length.
Here it is, on my foot. It's too big for me (my foot ends where the toe section starts) but here's an idea of what the pattern looks like. The pattern is A Child's French Sock, from Knitting Vintage Socks, and the yarn is some Regia cotton, sent to me by my SP8.

Knitterly New Years Resolutions
I've been trying to think of what I'm going to do with all my WIPs. I've decided 2007 will be the year! I will finish them. I can't even remember what I've got left to finish. Here's a partial list, from memory:
- Kyoto (Knitty pattern)
- Ugly Sock
- Amanda's Christmas Socks (working on this now - erm, just a little late)
- Socks for Martha
- Baby socks with leftover sock yarn
- Alice (Magknits pattern)
- Socks for my Sockret Pal
- hat for charity
- potholders (Magknits pattern)
- I think there are several started-but-not-finished needlepoint projects in there, too
I think there are more, but I honestly can't remember. I'd like to finish what I've got and maybe (no promises) try not to buy more yarn until I've used up quite a bit of my stash. Especially sock yarn. Let's see how this goes!
