The BOX

Sponsored by
Trashy, a couple weeks ago I received a super cool box. The challenge - chose three items from said box that I want to keep, and replace them with other items.
I chose brown stripey yarn, scrapbooking supplies (glue dots, magic pen, and the little heart brads), and vintage linen napkins, which I will iron and put into my vintage linens collection!
Oh, and now you want to know what I put into the box? Well, if anyone chooses my stuff (I hope they do... I think what I put in is pretty nice!) I'll post a link.

Favorite Color Swap Package!

My pal was the lovely
Mandy who sent me this fabulous package. It was too much for one photo! Above, we have a needle roll and a travel knitting bag that she made, needles, stitch markers, a clapotis that she also made, and yarn that she dyed herself!

and here, we have m & m's (which I am munching on now), a journal, more yarn she dyed herself, another travel bag she made, a notepad, a candle, and in the folder are two Cookie A sock patterns!
Thanks so much, Mandy! You really went above and beyond and I love everything. The colors are perfect.

Thanks, Sockret Pal!
Look, look, look! I got a Sockret Pal package over the weekend!

My pal,
Eva, made me two pairs of socks! Here's one of each pair on two different feet. They fit perfectly, and I love them both.

And here's the total package. Heaps of sock yarn. A really cool octopus thing that can be used for drying laundry. Lemon candies, sock patterns (a magazine and on a CD), dishtowels, magnets, sock blockers, and clothespins. I really have been wanting sock blockers, so I am especially excited about that!
Thank you so much, Eva. I love it... it's a great package.

Package! And a sock or two.

I got my
Favorite Color Swap 2 package yesterday! It turns out my spoiler was none other than
Dennis' Mom, who was also my spoiler for SP9. She made me a dishcloth! And sent myriad other green items. I especially love the Lorna's Laces sock yarn and the green shiny notebook. Thank you so much! I love it.

And here is a sock. I finished it a while ago, actually, but I haven't posted about it yet. It's a gift, and I don't think the person who it is for actually reads the blog, but I'll wait until I've mailed it off before I tell you who it's for!

Second sock. Heel turned this weekend! The yarn is koigu and the pattern is from
Sensational Knitted Socks - it's the twin rib pattern. I had actually started a lacy pattern with this yarn, but I got to the heel of the first sock and decided I hated it. The twin ribbing is much more to my liking.
